How is INTENTIO different from other Gyms?
INTENTIO is a facility that embraces all aspects of health and wellness, not just fitness. Our membership programs include access to nutrition coaching, personal training, and injury prevention & care, and we give you the option to choose which areas you want your program to include based on your needs and goals.
In addition, your INTENTIO coaching doesn’t have to stop once you walk out our doors. There’s no shame in needing extra support—we know how difficult it can be to make longlasting change. Our coaches are available around the clock to provide you with all the support you need in order to succeed.
What will being a client of INTENTIO be like?
At INTENTIO, we believe that good diet, regular fitness, and proper injury prevention and care are all necessary aspects in being proactive about health. As a client, you will have the opportunity to work with a functional team of coaches that embraces this 360-degree approach to health and wellness not offered at other facilities.
What will I be doing? What will I get with my program?
The road to wellness looks different for everyone. Your program will be specifically designed by our team of coaches based on your goals. No two clients at INTENTIO will be doing the same things.
I’m ready to make some lifestyle change, but I’m not sure what my specific goals are. What do I do?

Can I try a session out?
We offer an introductory series of 3 coaching sessions for $240 to give you a preview of what the INTENTIO experience will be like.
I have tried a lot of other programs. How effective will yours be?
We have a personalized, goal-oriented approach at INTENTIO. We are dedicated to providing 360-degree care based on whatever you need as a client. As long as you are committed, we guarantee results.
What is the difference between a physical therapist and a personal trainer?
A physical therapist is a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist who remediates impairments and promotes mobility, function, and quality of life through examination, diagnosis, prognosis, and physical intervention.
A personal trainer is a fitness professional involved in exercise instruction and prescription. Their training is often related to strength building, performance enhancement, or weight loss. Education on wellness, exercise, and general health is part of a personal trainer’s responsibility to their clients.
What is an athletic trainer?
An athletic trainer is a certified health care professional who practices in the field of sports medicine.
Am I required to see an injury prevention specialist?
Injury care consultation is optional and not necessary unless you previously had an injury.
I just recently injured myself. Can I just come in for treatment?
Yes. Please schedule an assessment with one of our staff.
Can I get massages here?
Massages are available for injury prevention or in response to specific injuries. We do not offer massages for general relaxation.
It doesn’t look like there are many machines. How can I get my cardio in?
We have treadmills, bikes, and a rowing machine available for cardio. Please consult with your personal trainer about what exercises best suit your goals.
What is an Alter G?
An Alter G treadmill is an anti-gravity treadmill that allows you to push your physical therapy rehabilitation and training by reducing gravity’s impact on your joints.
